It's early, yet, but the abbey is a positive hive of activity. Everyone has a task to perform. A lot of them, no doubt, would be made far easier with the Prior's assistance, but there's something in the expression on his face that makes people unwilling to interrupt.

He has a distracted air, but something in his demeanour suggests that you wouldn't want to be the focus of his attention. Not today.
